What is the difference between Gur & Khandsari?
The main difference lies in their production process. Gur, or jaggery, is made by concentrating sugarcane juice, while khandsari sugar is derived from sugarcane juice with little more processing then jaggery. Gur is less refined than desi khand, resulting in a stronger, molasses – like flavour and higher nutrient.
